Clearwater Associates, Inc. was started in 2004 by Mr. David M. King in Kansas City, Missouri. After many years in the business of selling products to the wastewater industry, it became apparent to Mr. King that there was a need for a different kind of "supplier" of treatment materials to municipal wastewater facilities.
Clearwater Associates, Inc. was formed to be not only a sales company, but also a company that would get involved with the system operator to evaluate and determine the most cost effective course of action along with the most appropriate materials to address the challenge.
Today, Clearwater Associates and it's representatives continue to work with many wastewater facilities on an on-going basis to insure that they discharge the cleanest water and have the cleanest collection systems possible, while utilizing the most cost effective methods.
When Clearwater was formed, we concentrated on using high quality, environmentally friendly, biological materials and all natural ingredients to meet the challenges that our customers face. We now have added some really exciting custom built sub-surface aeration and solar aeration to our line-up, as well as a line of multi-gas detectors to keep our customers safe when entering confined spaces. We pledge to continue to develop and introduce cost-effective tools and methods to our customers as technology advances.
